Last week got off to a sluggish start, eagerly awaiting the Allahabad High Court verdict on the disputed site in Ayodhya. However, the high court ruling, which said that the site will be split into three, helped the market stage a smart rally. On the last day of the week, the Sensex soared a whopping 376 points to end the week at 20445, a gain of 1.99% during the week. The Nifty gained 125 points, or 2.08%, to end at 6143.4. Among sectors, metals were the star performers. The BSE metal index moved up by 5.2% to close at 17517. Foreign investors continue to bet big on India story and so far they have poured in more than $17 billion since the start of the calendar year.
How ever by diwali sensex will reach/cross the all-time high of 21,207 points which was hitted on January 10, 2008. From onwards the returns on Mid and small cap stocks will be superb and I hope we will reap very good returns on the scrips we have invested in.

As of March 2010, Ennore Coke had a capacity of around 400,000 tonnes, including contract.
This is expected to increase to a million tonne by next year. "The proposed capacity addition will not require any investment, since it will be through increasing the number of contract manufacturers," said Natarajan
Natarajan said they might also look at reverse merger of Haldia Coke with Ennore Coke or go for an initial public offering.
On Ennore Coke's performance, he said, the company is targeting to achieve a turnover of Rs 500 crore during the current fiscal and Rs 1,000 crore by next year. Its turnover grew over three-fold at Rs 388.95 crore in 2009-10, as compared with Rs 101.06 crore a year ago.
